Meet Your Parts: An Introductory IFS Workshop

A ready-to-use introductory Internal Family Systems (IFS) workshop with guided exercises for identifying parts, mapping internal relationships, exploring protector roles, practicing curiosity, and reflecting on Self-led responses.

Meet Your Parts is a ready-to-use introductory Internal Family Systems (IFS) workshop designed for psychology students, therapists, helping professionals, and psychoeducational groups.

The workshop guides participants through a structured exploration of their internal parts using accessible, reflective exercises rather than deep trauma processing.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • a brief introduction to the IFS model

  • “Part of me…” reflection prompts

  • identification of everyday parts

  • a parts-mapping exercise

  • exploration of protector roles

  • prompts for shifting from judgment to curiosity

  • a gentle introduction to unblending

  • a letter-writing exercise to a part

  • exploration of two parts in conflict

  • reflection using the 8 Cs of Self

  • closing and integration prompts

This workshop is intended for introductory, educational, and reflective use. It is not a substitute for formal IFS training or psychotherapy.
